Virginia DOT Approves use of Hydro International Separators and Filter

Virginia DOT approves Hydro International stormwater treatment systems.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) recently completed a comprehensive review of submittals for development of an Approved Products List (APL) for stormwater Manufactured Treatment Devices (MTDs).

The review included the Downstream Defender® and First Defense® stormwater separators, and the Up-Flo® Filter stormwater filter. All three were approved by VDOT.

Virginia contractors working on DOT jobs and engineers who specify stormwater treatment systems are free to add these products to their toolkit effective immediately.
