Drainage design engineers can now get 3D models of Hydro International products for use with Building Information Modelling (BIM).

Hydro International can now provide drainage design engineers with 3D models of its most popular products for use with Building Information Modelling (BIM).

3D models are available for the WRc and BBA approved Hydro-Brake® Optimum and the Downstream Defender® and Hydro Biofilter™ stormwater treatment systems.

With these 3D models, drainage engineers will be able to build the products directly into Building Information Modelling (BIM) projects, greatly assisting with visualisation and optimisation of a project from design through to operation.

The ability to output specified products to the Bill of Materials helps ensure that the build is completed to specification.

With all public sector projects requiring a Level 2 BIM and with BIM also being widely adopted in the private sector these 3D models will help drainage engineers comply and collaborate on projects.
