Up-Flo® Filter Certified by NJDEP under New Testing Protocol

The Up-Flo® Filter has been recertified for 80% TSS removal by the NJDEP.

The Up-Flo® Filter stormwater treatment system was recertified for 80% TSS (Total Suspended Solids) removal by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) under their newest stormwater treatment testing protocol last month. This makes Up-Flo™ Filter one of the few filters currently approved for use by the state.

Up-Flo® Filter has been certified by NJDEP since 2008, but in 2013 New Jersey regulators notified all previously certified stormwater BMP manufacturers that they had until December 1st, 2016 to retest under the new protocol or be rendered ineligible for use.

The New Jersey certification process is considered a gold standard for stormwater treatment, and engineers and municipal authorities across the world refer to the NJDEP regulations and certifications.
