Florida DEP Accepts Downstream Defender for Water Quality
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has accepted the Downstream Defender®hydrodynamic separator to remove nutrients and sediment from stormwater runoff.
Field testing for Downstream Defender® has shown 22% removal of nutrient-carrying sediments compared to the standard allowance of 10% for a generic hydrodynamic separator.
